Silly Moving Superstitions (Part Two)
Welcome back to the Albuquerque Self Storage blog. This month we are spending some time looking at a few mothing-related superstitions. As superstitions go, these range from spooky to downright silly. Whether you believe in them or not is up to you! So far we have learned about the importance of housewarming gifts and confronted the conundrum of picking out the best moving day. Without further ado, let’s look at a few more interesting moving-related superstitions.
- Intersection Danger
What have all heard that “location matters.” According to this superstition, that phrase is applicable to more than just real estate values. The superstition which we have labelled “intersection danger” would have you believe that location can actually be deadly. According to this superstition you should never living in a home located on a T shaped intersection. The rationale behind this superstition is a little hard to peg down. If you are talking to a superstition person, they may tell you something about “bad energy.” They believe that the shape of the T will direct negative energy into your home. We feel dubious about homes located on T intersections for a different reason. When cars are diving at night, they are driving directly AT your home. No one likes getting blasted in the eyes by headlights at 1 AM, so maybe you should head this superstition anyway.
- The Better Broom
Some superstitious individuals will tell you that you should never bring a used broom into a new home. Why is that you ask? Well, because used brooms are full of negative energy of course. And we can’t have that. On a more practical level, used brooms are dirty and your new home is hopefully super clean, so maybe it’s time to get a new broom anyway?
