Enjoying Spring in Albuquerque

The end of February is almost here and with that means Spring is just over the hill. Supposedly. We’ll see about that. But what does that mean for us here at the Albuquerque Self Storage? Well, it’s time to do the season swap!

That’s right; the winter months are almost behind us, so the cold keeping us indoors from our favorite activities is about to be gone. It’s time to put all the decorations, the space heaters, and warm winter clothing in storage and bring out our bikes, fishing gear, camping equipment, etc. Here are some of our favorite activities in the lovely Land of Enchantment.

The abundance of hiking and biking trails means there are plenty of places to move. The Sandia Foothills offer great mountain biking for all skill levels, while the Paseo Del Bosque Trail is one of the best road bike rides the Southwest has to offer!

Maybe still a bit too chilly, but so long as you don’t get tipped, there are some seriously great rafting and canoeing to be had on the Rio Grande! Get your canoe out from storage and get to it!

Obviously, our golf is top notch year-round, but now it’ll be even easier to get the crew together to go out and shoot the full 18! Grab your clubs and some buds and go out and make a day of it.

Alright, sure maybe Winter doesn’t really end til March 20th, and even then it doesn’t get much warmer til May but can you blame us for being overly excited? Even if it’s a bit windy, we’ll be getting our stuff out of storage ready for action; we hope you’ll do the same. Only a few more weeks left!
